I'm excited to finally share this: Slushropes is now a certified seller of Crossrope jump ropes.
And this isn't one of those partnerships where I'm talking about a product I haven't actually used. I ordered Crossrope, jumped with it for the first time yesterday, and immediately understood why people love it.
Quick note before we jump in: this post is written from my personal experience. I'm Gabi, and I'm sharing my firsthand impressions after using Crossrope for the first time.
First Impressions: Okay…This Is Really Nice
My very first reaction when I opened the package was how clean everything felt. The packaging was intentional, well thought out, and honestly just looked really good. It didn't feel like I was opening a random piece of fitness equipment — it felt like a quality experience from the start.
That attention to detail carries right into the product itself. The colors of the ropes are coordinated with the app, which makes it super easy to know which rope you're supposed to be using. On top of that, the weights are actually printed on the cords, so there's zero guesswork.
The handles felt great in my hands — a little heavier, but in a way that made them feel solid and premium. Overall, my first impression was simply: this is very well done.

What I Ordered & How It Felt to Use
I went with the AMP Get Lean Set, which comes with a 1 lb rope, a ½ lb rope, and a ¼ lb rope, along with the AMP handles.
The first time I used it, the biggest surprise was how heavy that 1 lb rope actually felt — heavier than I expected, but in a good way. It immediately made sense why people say Crossrope gives such a solid workout.
Compared to other jump ropes I've used, everything felt smooth and controlled. Switching between rope weights really highlighted how effective this system is: jumping slower for shorter sets with the heavier rope, then going faster and longer with the lighter rope. It instantly clicked as a fun, approachable way to work jump rope into a regular workout routine — even if you're not someone who's doing tricks (because I'm definitely not).

My First Experience With the App
One thing I really appreciated is that even though I have the AMP handles, I haven't subscribed yet — and I could still use the app. Crossrope offers free workouts and partial programs that anyone can jump into, which is great if you're not ready to fully commit right away.
The app itself is super easy to follow. Everything is color-coordinated, it tells you exactly which rope to use, and there are clear movement demos. The timer is simple, pausing is easy, and getting back into a workout doesn't feel frustrating.
There is a lot in the app, but they make it very clear what's locked and what's available, which I really appreciated. Overall, it feels accessible — like anyone could pick it up and start using it.
And don't sleep on their YouTube channel where they've got playlists for you to follow along with.
Who I Think Crossrope Is Perfect For
I think Crossrope is perfect for anyone who wants structure and guidance with their jump rope workouts — especially if you're not focused on tricks.
It's especially good for:
- People who want guided workouts instead of making things up
- Anyone who likes variety in their training
- Folks who enjoy data and metrics (especially with the AMP + subscription)
That said, you can absolutely get a lot out of Crossrope even without the AMP handles and sticking with the Classic.
Why Crossrope Complements Slushropes
At Slushropes, we care deeply about putting out quality products and getting more people moving. We already do flow ropes really well. When it comes to jump ropes, Crossrope is already doing an incredible job — so why reinvent the wheel?
Our goal is simple: get more ropes into more people's hands.
Jump ropes, weighted ropes, ropeless bundles, different handle styles (Classic and AMP), an app with guided workout — Crossrope offers options that lower the barrier to entry and make movement feel accessible for everyone. That's exactly why this partnership works.
They just make sense together.
We're excited to officially bring Crossrope into the Slushropes ecosystem and share it with the community — because more options means more ways to move, and that's always a win.
